Yimmy Kil Langhorne always makes heart on the sleeve very honest, vulnerable, real albums. Through his own personal struggles he is able to pen narratives so many can relate to. His understanding of human emotion highs and lows is really unmatched in multiple genres of music. This album was created during the pandemic and really touches on what so many are going through. Though these songs are short in length they are powerful and very moving. This is my favorite of his and hope this sparks more albums. Favorite track: Summer Days.

40east It seems like years ago now, but we got to share an amazing time and space together with Langhorne Slim and his band in the Dominican Republic just before all of these catastrophes hit our lives. I know these songs are going to be exactly what we need to cope until we see each other again.

Written in his home after his adopted hometown of Nashville was hit by a tornado and the world was hit by a global pandemic, Langhorne Slim's Strawberry Mansion was born while writing a song a day to help reignite his artistic muse. What results is a collection of bursts of joy, hope, struggle, and honest moments from a tumultuous time.
